Taylor Hutt grew up in Hawaii, attended college in Ohio, and has worked for various Silicon Valley companies, such as Borland and VMware, doing low-level development work. Recently, bored with the tack of the software industry, he decided to teach himself hardware design (with some guidance from a hardware veteran). He is currently implementing a full computer, using the Spartan-3E board, from the design of the MIPs-influenced processor, through the assembler, linker, and bootstrap loader all the way up to I/O devices.
