Thomas Mitchell is a registered professional engineer who has worked for the U.S. Department of Defense for the last 30 years. He graduated from the University of Delaware with Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and in Physics. Thomas later received Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from The Johns Hopkins University. He has worked on numerous high-speed digital designs of components, boards, and systems. Thomas has implemented designs with ECL, TTL, and CMOS using discrete logic (SSI/MSI/LS /VLSI), programmable logic (PALs, complex PLDs, and FPGAs), microprogram sequencers, and microprocessors.
