John Piccirillo, Ph.D., is a part-time instructor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at University of Alabama in Huntsville. After attaining a doctorate in astronomy, John spent 20 years working on ballistic missile defense technologies for defense contractors, then retired to devote his energies to behavior-based mobile robotics.
