Andrew Sterian is an associate professor in the School of Engineering at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. He obtained his PhD from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and has been teaching engineering courses for eight years. Andrew owns Emsyde Design, an embedded systems design and consulting firm. In addition to embedded systems hardware and firmware, his technical interests include anything that gets students excited about science and engineering.
