Robert N. Capper, Jr. is a self-educated engineer with more than 25 years of experience developing embedded controls. His areas of expertise include low-power circuitry and infrared sensing and signaling. Robert's company, Quanceptronics, develops and manufactures energy-conserving environmental controls. He also holds a position with the Hollins Communication Research Institute, where his work supports stuttering research and therapy programs. Robert is a First Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, which he studies and teaches in his spare time.
