Bob Armstrong is a hardware and software design consultant in Silicon Valley. He has worked on process control and automation software for semiconductor manufacturing, several different EDA software products, image enhancement and Braille display devices, automobile traffic-monitoring systems, and flat panel LCDs for computers and HDTV. Bob also runs Spare Time Gizmos, which produces electronic projects and kits for hobbyists.
